Me and You Too: Early Childhood Education

imgresThe Me and You Too program is based on the premise that parents are their children’s first and most important teachers.

Through group learning sessions, home visits, parent workshops,  group connections, resource referrals and support services, parents help their children excel during their most critical years of learning.

Me and You Too works one-on-one with families who may be facing challenges, who want a better future for their children. The program promotes early literacy and science, technology, engineering, art and math (S.T.E.A.M) to establish a strong foundation for children ages 16 months through 2nd grade.

Early childhood learning coupled with parent-child interaction has been shown to be critical to closing the gaps in academic performance; the earlier these experiences the better. Studies have proven that children taught at an early age usually benefit in the following ways: school readiness, improved social skills, less or no need for special education instruction during subsequent school years, better grades, and enhanced attention spans.
